SINGING FOR MY SUPPER

The heat is on as the Portico Prize draws closer.

Read Alan Sykes in the Guardian last week.

At 5.00pm this Sunday I will be on stage at the Durham Literary Festival with other shortlisted writers fighting my corner, talking about the book and doing a short reading of The Man who couldn't stop drawing.

If any of you are in the vicinity I'd love to see you and certainly need the support in the face of all the big names on the shortlist. It's a bi-annual event and Hercules and the farmer's wife was shortlisted 2 years ago but excitement and suspense is ratching up even more this time.

You can buy a copy of the book at Castlegate House or e mail me and I'll post you a signed copy for £28 inclusive.(UK mainland). Or you can order from fulfilled by Amazon.
